DETAIL GOUGES
The 3/8 and 1/2 inch detail gouge has a flute depth of 33% of the diameter with a nice radius to cut beads or coves. This tool does everything well.

The 7/16 detail gouge was designed by turner, writer and teacher King Heiple, the flute is slightly shallower with a larger radius. This is also know as the Heiple detail gouge.

NOTE - The 7/16 detail will be available for students of Ernie Conover, sorry I running low and they were made for his teaching.
